چکیده
Direct ink writing (DIW) offers a flexible and readily available processing route for achieving ceramic components with complex shapes geometries. The successful printing of green bodies using DIW typically requires the formulation particle-loaded inks having narrow window rheological properties that enable both flow through nozzle support weight additional layers. Herein, we present method employs UV-curing to otherwise unprintable inks. used in this study are suspensions consisting commercially polycarbosilane precursor silicon nitride, Si 3 N 4 , powders. A diacrylate cross-linker photointiator were employed UV-curing. effect content on UV-rheology cure depth as they pertain printing, slump self-supported lattice structures, discussed. UV-assisted produced high degree complexity, capable supporting over-hanging low shrinkage, relatively conversion

The ability to pattern planar and freestanding 3D metallic architectures at the microscale would enable myriad applications, including flexible electronics, displays, sensors, and electrically small antennas. A 3D printing method is introduced that combines direct ink writing with a focused laser that locally anneals printed metallic features "on-the-fly." To optimize the nozzle-to-laser separa...

High-operating-temperature direct ink writing (HOT-DIW) of mesoscale architectures that are composed of eutectic silver chloride-potassium chloride. The molten ink undergoes directional solidification upon printing on a cold substrate. The lamellar spacing of the printed features can be varied between approximately 100 nm and 2 µm, enabling the manipulation of light in the visible and infrared ...
متن کاملDirect Ink Writing of Three-Dimensional Ceramic Structures
The ability to pattern ceramic materials in three dimensions (3D) is critical for structural, functional, and biomedical applications. One facile approach is direct ink writing (DIW), in which 3D structures are built layer-by-layer through the deposition of colloidalor polymer-based inks. This approach allows one to design and rapidly fabricate ceramic materials in complex 3D shapes without the...
